1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies on the Site for functionality, analytics, and security.
1.4 Payment information (Apple App Store / Google Play)
If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, purchases are typically processed by the platform provider (Apple or Google). We do not collect or store your full payment card details for purchases processed by Apple or Google. Apple/Google may provide us limited information (such as subscription status, product purchased, and renewal/expiration dates) so we can provide access to paid features.
1.5 Sensitive information
We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, or health data) through the Services.
2) How and why we use your information
We process information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- create and manage accounts
- send service communications (e.g., confirmations, updates, access invitations)
- respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- monitor, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues

- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Marketing communications (if any) will be sent consistent with your choices and applicable law, and you can opt out at any time.
3) Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions)
Where required, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent (you can withdraw at any time)
- Performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request)
- Legitimate interests (e.g., improving Services, security, analytics) where not overridden by your rights
- Legal obligations (e.g., compliance, lawful requests)
4) When and with whom we share your information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support tools). They are permitted to process personal information only on our instructions.
- Platform providers (Apple and Google) in connection with App distribution and purchases, subject to their terms and policies.
- Affiliates (if any), under common ownership/control, consistent with this Policy.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

5) Third-party websites and services
The Services may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Review their policies directly.
6) International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
7) Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:
- while you maintain an account, and
- as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When we no longer need the information, we delete or anonymize it, or securely store and isolate it until deletion is feasible (e.g., in backups).
8) Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, objection/restriction, and withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent).
To exercise your rights, contact welcome@trybehold.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Opting out of marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Even if you opt out, we may still send service-related messages.
10) Additional U.S. state disclosures (if applicable)
If you are located in certain U.S. states, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. To exercise these rights, contact welcome@trybehold.com. We will authenticate requests consistent with applicable law.
11) Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in the United States, or under the minimum age required by applicable law elsewhere. If we learn we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it. Contact welcome@trybehold.com.
12) Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" signals, we do not currently respond to them on the Site.
13) Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date and will be effective when posted. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice consistent with applicable law.
